Each recipient's college of choice will receive $3,000 to be applied toward tuition and fees during their freshman year. The maximum amount paid on behalf of the recipient shall be $3,000.
The applicant must be a graduating senior of Lake Highlands High School with a GPA of 85 or above. Selection will be based on character, scholastic ability, extra-curricular activities, financial need and a short essay.
Complete the online application. You will need to include an essay (approximately 300 words) answering one of the two questions listed in the application. Please answer all questions before submitting the application. You may save your application and come back to it later if you are not able to finish in one sitting; each time you click Next on a page, your progress will be saved. If a question is not applicable please write "N/A"; however, it is to the candidate's advantage to answer all questions as fully as possible.
Please note that ANY use of artificial intelligence (AI) on your essay will result in your application being disqualified.
Submit the names and email addresses of the two individuals who will write your your recommendations (at least one from a high school counselor or teacher). Do not include more than the two requested recommendations. Recommendation writers may also come to this website to request a new link if they cannot locate the original link required to write a recommendation.
Recommendations are due by Thursday, March 7, 2024. Applications due by Thursday, March 7, 2024.
